SNM Fiber Grating Solutions

Benefits:

It is proved that FRP structures offer several benefits in the construction and mining fields. FRP grating and walkways play an important part in the industrial sectors. Features like corrosion resistance, lightweight, durability, and low maintenance make FRP components are a popular selling point for construction companies. Fibreglass grating items are made through various methods. Among all, the moulded grating and intrusions are the best.

Moulded Grating Process:

The manufacturing of the moulded fibreglass grating is possible with the placement of the continuous glass fibres in horizontal and vertical directions in the liquid mould. The glass fibres are then soaked in the resin thoroughly layer-wise. After the weaving process is completed, the mould is heated for curing the panel. After curing is over, the panel is removed from the mould. The top layer of the standard panel will have the concave shape. The process like applying grit on the top surface is considered as the secondary technique. This process is responsible for the formation of one piece panel and makes the FRP structures corrosion resistant and strong.
